Enter a Product for the CES Innovation Awards® 2027 Program

The CES Innovation Awards® Program is an annual competition honoring outstanding innovation, design and engineering in consumer technology products across 37 award categories.

The program is open to any individual, organization or authorized agent who manufactures, designs, engineers or promotes consumer technology products. Product must be new and available in the market for the first time between April 1, 2026 and March 31, 2027, or can be a significant advancement of a previous model in the market within the same time period.

Product applications are evaluated by an external panel of judges comprised of engineers, designers, members of the media and industry analysts. The Consumer Technology Association (CTA) ® does not test or endorse the Innovation award-winning products.

The class of Products that score above the scoring threshold in each award category are designated as “Honoree”. The highest-scoring Honoree(s) in each category as designated as “Best of Innovation”.

  • View application status at any time within the dashboard.
  • Easily submit your Product for up to four (4) total award categories.
  • Upload video directly into the application.
  • Verify their Company for the Exhibiting Member discount using the Lookup tool.

  • You will not be able to alter your application(s) once submitted. Only those designated as Honoree or Best of Innovation status will have the opportunity to review their entry and may update their Product Description, and/or Primary Image prior to the winner announcement.

HOW TO APPLY

1. Create or Log In to Your CTA/CES Account

 All Applicants will need a CTA/CES Account to submit a product application for the CES Innovation Awards. If you do not have an existing account, you will be prompted to create one the first time you try to access the Product Application site.
Tips: 

  • If you are a CTA Member, use the email address where you receive communications about CTA membership benefits.
  • To create a CTA/CES Account, you must have a unique and verifiable email address and the password cannot contain your username – the system won’t accept it.
  • Create a CTA/CES Account and/or visit the CTA/CES Account FAQ page for assistance. 

2. Accept the Official Rules

As part of the application, all Applicants must accept the Official Rules within the application form.

    3. Submit Application & Pay Fees

    Once logged in to the CTA/CES Account, you will be directed to the Product Application Site.
    Tips: 

    • Application fees must be paid in full at the time of submission.
    • Applicant is responsible for verifying accuracy of information before submitting.
    • Applications may not be altered once submitted.

    4. Receive Notification

    Applicants will be notified of their final decision status by November 2, 2026 via email as well as within their application site panel.
